Help Us Restore Onchan Park!
Eight years ago, we came together to save Onchan Park from being sold. Thanks to your support, we raised money for a new multi-use games area and table tennis tables. Since then, we have worked hard to get full support from Gedling Borough Council for new funding.
Today, Onchan Park needs us again.
The play equipment is old, dirty, and broken. Some parts have even been removed for safety. The paving and steps are unsafe. Gedling Borough Council says Onchan Park is in the worst condition in the county.
Our beautiful bowling green has also been left to rot. Holes, trenches, and rough ground now make it dangerous. Children can no longer use it to play football or run around safely.
But there is hope!
We now have the chance to get full support from Gedling Borough Council. With their help, we can bid for money to fix the park. Here’s what we can do:

Install brand-new play equipment for all children, including those with disabilities.

Add new swings, climbing frames, and safe play areas.

Resurface the bowling green to create a safe space for football, rounders, and other games.
Together, we can bring Onchan Park back to life! We can create a safe, happy place where children play, families gather, and our community grows stronger.
