General Meeting to plan the future of Onchan Park

We haven’t had a general meeting since summer 2016, and a lot has happened since then!

Gedling Borough Council have agreed that we can keep the park and there will be no building on the green space. Friends of Onchan Park have had some very productive meetings with GBC officials to discuss the next steps for the park and the pavilion.

The mural painting project for the pavilion windows has progressed significantly with funding promised from Nottingham City Transport and graffiti artist Dak from Living in Colour on board to paint the children’s designs.

As a volunteer group representing the community near Oakdale Road recreation ground, we need input from the community to help plan our next steps for Onchan Park.

Please come along to the meeting to listen and have your say, or leave a message on the website, or connect via facebook (Save Onchan Park), or twitter @OnchanPark.

We will circulate the agenda nearer the time and we look forward to meeting you!
